Big range: Everyone heals differently. It also depends on how many teeth, and how much bone is holding them in. Average is a couple of days. Range is probably none to 5 days.

Varies: Some patients are amazing and can function fairly normal the next day, while others take time to recover. Everyone is different and some know their tolerance and can estimate it on their own, but that is rare.
