I rarely take xanax (alprazolam) for anxiety, but yesterday i took 1.5mg over the course of the entire day. it's been 24 hours can i drink alcohol? or wait longer?

That depends: On other factors as well. Also are you presently on any other medications? Is drinking = 1 beer or a six pack? More information needed. Hope this helps.
