Is a low dose of xanax (alprazolam) alright to ease the anxiety from post acute withdrawl symptoms from quitting drinking alcohol?

Xanax (alprazolam): If prescribed by your doctor & for short period of time. Also, keep in mind that if used on regular basis, that you have to taper the dose gradually to prevent withdrawal, of course under supervision.
