Many reasons: Going by the age in the profile there are many environmental factors that can take place over the course of 3 decades that can affect both of your feet. Such as shoegear, activity level, pregnancy, traumatic injury, etc. If your foot problems persist, i suggest you see a podiatrist.

A 46-year-old member asked:
What could have caused a foot deformity for me but not my identical twin?

Likely epigenetic: This is unlikely to be due to genetic influences since you two are genetically identical. Possibilities causing the deformity include amniotic band syndrome or deformity due to fetal crowding. See an orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon in your area for diagnosis and treatment: www.Aofas.Org.
