Sometimes: Sometimes diaphragm heights on chest exam differ. If weakness or palsy of diaphragm usually has to be confirmed by dynamic study such as fluoroscopy or ultrasound of diaphragms. Sometimes hernias can be appreciated. It also depends whether functional or anatomic problem.
