Cardiophrenic Fat: A prominent cardiophrenic or epicardial fat pad is an accumulation of fat in the place where the right side of the heart and the right diaphtragm meet. This finding is usually benign and incidental, but can be associated with some diseases that occur increased body fat, such as mediastinal lipomatosis, steroid use, or Cushing's disease. Ask your doctor for more information.
