In what way are supernumerary teeth treated?

Removal: Can't put a quart and a half into a quart container. Can't put 17 or more teeth into an arch sized to hold 16. Seek examination w your dentist. He may advise consultation w oral surgeon. Know that orthodontic treatment may also be advisable.

Depends: A supernumerary tooth is an extra tooth in addition to your normal dentition. Treatment will be dependent upon the location and position of the extra tooth or teeth if you have more than one, as well as any associated symptoms or problems or potential for problems. Your age could also be a consideration.
