Teeth : If the "six tiny dots" as you describe, have been diagnosed to be "cavities" by your dentist and are in need of treatment, you should share your concerns with the treating dentist so that you may discuss the dental restorative material options such as composite for an example, which may give the appearance of an "untouched" tooth.

Comp/seal: If viable, I would recommend comp/seal if the lesion is small enough. Speak with your dentist about all concerns prior to the procedure. Sealing the rest of the occusal surface will protect the biting surface. Remember, to visit the dentist on a prescribed basis to make sure all intact.

That depends: That depends on the materials being used and the skill of the dentist. Small, tooth colored, composite restorations placed by a competent dentist will not be visible. The larger the cavity, the greater the possibility that the restoration will be noticeable. The longer you wait the larger the cavity will get. Ask your friends for a reffferal to a good dentist and have your teeth restored.
