Not for triglyceride: Better to be fasting when getting lipid profile particularly for triglycerides.

Perhaps: Fasting status does not affect HDL cholesterol or total cholesterol mrasurements. After eating triglyceride (tg) levels increase. Since LDL cholesterol is calculated (total cholesterol minus ( triglyceride/5 + HDL cholesterol)) non-fasting status makes LDL cholesterol measurements unreliable. If tg is elevatd (>150) i recommend re checking a fasting lipid profile.

Fasting lipids: Having not fasted may have affected your triglyceride level adversely, which may have raised your total cholesterol result a bit. If there's any question about the results, especially if they're abnormal, recheck fasting - first thing in the morning before eating would be ideal.
