Need more detail: The bile made by the liver gets stored in the gallbladder and then empties when signaled bycck. If your gall bladder did this it's normal. If it emptied, but, only a small amount, it would be a poorly functioning gb. Suggest you ask what the ejection fraction was. Normal is more than 25-30% in most studies.

Not usually liver: If hida was excreted normally by liver and gall bladder visualized at normal time the liver is normal. Sometimes gall bladder dyskinesia can affect gall bladder emptying. The more important finding is the amount of activity excreted after cck (gb ejection fraction, normal usually above 35%) and symptoms encountered during this phase of study.
