Probably okay by now: Stomach emptyies within 1-2 hours after liquids, 3-6 hours after solids. Carbohydrates ; proteins exit faster than fats. Large meals take longer to empty than small meals. Medications, diabetes, neuropathies, certain infections can alter stomach emptying, as can mechanical delay due to stenosis ; scarring of the pylorus (the gastric outlet into duodenum), gallbladder disease, small bowel issues.
