how much fish-n-chips would a person need to eat to get his daily 1-2 grams of omega 3 fish oil? is it influenced by the type of frying oil is used?

Omega 3 : The trials for this still a bit unclear but based on current information, 1-2 fish servings of fish ( not chips) per week can be beneficial. Yes frying oils can influence nutritional value. Extra light olive oil, safflower oil, canola oil can be good options.
