Had extra salmon last night so should i take omega fish oil today?

Omega 3: You can but any excess omega 3 or vitamins for that matter get eliminated by kidney or liver depending on the metabolism. Its often better to get your nutrients from food vs pill.

Maybe not: Salmon generally has more omega 3 in it than most other fish, & often more than many fish oil supplements. I'd talk with your doctor to make sure s/he is okay, but generally i prefer my patients get vitamins, etc through food sources first, and with supplements when it can't be done through food alone.L.
