Need to be seen...: If you have an upper respiratory infection that has been treated with antibiotics and are now experiencing shortness of breath, either the infection has evolved into possible pneumonia and/or you are having a drug reaction. It is important to be seen as soon as possible! dr. Raichle www.Obgynhelp.Com.

Go back!: Since you aren't feeling better and you're having shortness of breath, it's time to go back and be rechecked. You may need a chest x-ray if you haven't already had one. The flu can be very serious, and antibiotics don't help because it's a virus. Anytime you're having difficulty breathing, it's time to see a doctor!
