Deep vein thrombosis is a phlebothrombosis or thrombophlebitis, can you please tell me?

Essentially the same: Thrombophlebitis is a clot with inflammation and phlebothrombosis is a clot without inflammation. A DVT is usually always thrombophletbitis because of the associated inflammation and swelling of the area. An example of a phlebothrombosis would be a clotted hemorrhoid or a clot in an arm vein following an IV medication.

Dvt: Deep vein thrombosis can also be described as a thrombophlebitis, or a phlebitis, or perhaps even a phlebolith thrombosis.
