Can you please discuss deep vein thrombosis and varicocele?

Clot in deep veins: Dvt means deep vein thrombosis or clot in deep veins. Varicocele is dilatation of veins of testes called pampiniform plexus. The two conditions are mutually exclusive.

Clots: Any deep vein in arm, leg, abdomen may develop clots in certain clinical settings:trauma, stasis, hypercoagulability. That is called DVT when found. Varicocele is prominent veins in the scrotal -testicular complex. I guess they can clot but they are not deep veins.

Very different: A varicocele is a dilated often twisted vein/s of the scrotal veins[ pampiniform plexus]. Deep vein thrombosis refers to a clot in the body [ leg, arm , torso]in the tissues below the skin.
