Certain abdominal: Conditions are better seen with ct, while others are seen better with ultrasound. Please ask your doctor who ordered these tests why he/she is advising a ct scan.

Better for something: Some structures and pathology are better evaluated with CT scan rather then an ultrasound and vice versa.
