No need: There is no need to perform either test, as it sounds like it is obviously present based on physical examination. If it persists past 6-12 months and/or causes a problem, it may need to get drained. This is typically a procedure done by a radiologist using either ultrasound or ct scan, which are used to guide the needle. Can also be done by the surgeon in the office without those tests.
