My mouth has been cold for 2 days now. it has a numb feeling. cold roof of mouth or cold tounge. i do have thyroid cancer. is the cancer doing this?

It could be a reaction to therapy like radiation or chemotherapy for the thyroid , as the symptoms are typical for therapy side effects.
