Recurrent cancer: Discuss treatment options with your oncologist. If you are dissatisfied, then seek a second opinion from a university cancer center.

Team approach: This will require the joint attention of a team of specialists including oncology, ent, oral surgery and possibly dentistry to fully address what is going on. Team approach: She should be evaluated and treated by an experienced head and neck cancer team. Since she has not had radiation or chemoradiation, these may be options for her with or without additional surgery.
