Do not stop: If you had an abnormal eeg, you will be a high risk of having another clinical seizure event. They may or may not be abnormal eeg findings to this day. The goal of the medication is to prevent another clinical seizure attack.

If your doctor refutes your reaction to a medication is it not encumbent on you to prove it? Taking med. Before eeg. Guarantees a seizure.
