Repetitive XL spikes on an EEG are usually indicative of a seizure disorder. However the neurologist involved in your daughter's care is by far the best person to advise you and answer your questions.

I would assume that EEG was done due to your daughter having episodes of altered consciousness. Have no clue what "XL" means, but spikes can correlate with epilepsy. A pediatric neurologist should be involved.
