A member asked:

In 98 an eeg showed i had epilepsy could this have been wrong i have not had a seizure since i was on a high dose sleepin med at the time i was 16 ?

Complex case: I suspect you were misdiagnosed. An eeg can show an abnormality but not define epilepsy. Migraine, medication effects, sleep deprivation can all affect the eeg. Medication for the eeg was probably not appropriate.
