Would a chest xray show somthing wrong with your lungs?

Yes: A chest xray shows many of the lung diseases and abnormalities like infections, growths, enlargement of structures like lymph glands and heart, fluid collections, etc. However a chest cat scan shows even more details and picks up lesions in earlier stages.
