What might cause an ultra sound tech to ask if my period was heavy during a pelvic and abdomen ultra sound? what could this mean is wrong with me?

Fibroids: Fibroids, or non cancerous uterine tumors would be the most likely reason they would enlarge the uterus and would be obvious on ultrasound. Also potentially a thickening of the uterus lining that looked thicker than it was supposed to be.
