Not sure: With just this little detail, it is impossible to pinpoint the problem. Sometimes a woman can have endometriosis or another cause which is only apparent at the time of her period. Your first step should be to consult your gynecologist for a complete exam and to determine if any other tests need to be done. Good luck.
