I took a long run with my track team in between mountains on a very long rigid path. my knee hurts if i put weight or walk etc. when can i run?

At least 1 week: It seems you have either bruised or sprained the knee. Take rest and use non weight bearing exercises to give it time to heal . You can take some otc anti inflammatory meds for inflammation.

When no pain: Pain is a sign that you have strained your body. Better to rest it and rehab it with stretching so you do not re injure it.
