Chondromalacia: There are several possibilities that could explain what is going on.These include patellar tendonitis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, patellofemoral syndrome, patellar chondromalacia,hamstring spasm amongst others. It is best to see a Sport medicine or PMR specialist for a thorough evaluation and referral to PT for quad training.In the meantime ice and anti-inflammatories as needed are recommended
