Be present: Stress and anxiety are generally a function of anticipation and worry that occurs in thought. But how can you remain present and not give into scary thought? Casually dropping thought is one way, perhaps by reminding yourself that you can always worry later. Or you can relax into the stress and anxiety, observe it, and chose to let it go. Energy tapping is also a useful technique.
