Depends: I would have your partner evaluated by a Cardiologist and discuss the risk and benefits. Work as a team with the Reproductive Endocrinologist and the Anesthesiologist. The team will discuss the risks and benefits of the procedure. Maybe if your partner is monitored in a high risk center? Good luck!

It depends: It all depends on what the nature of the heart condition is, Is it an issue of receiving anesthesia at this time or the pregnancy itself or delivery that the anesthesiologist was referring to? A cardiologist, fertility doctor, and anesthesiologist should be involved in your care.
