Surgery: Men with prior vasectomy can undergo surgery to remove the blocked segment and reconnect both ends together. Also the testes duct (the vas) can be connected to the tiny tube that directly comes from the testis (the epidedymis). Some men with obstructive azospermia may carry the risk for transmitting a genetic disease (the cause for obstruction) to their children. Surgery may not work for everyone.
