A corn is dead skin: The dead skin can be filed away, s ay with an emory board. It is usualy caused by friction and will occur over a bony prominence. In order to "remove" the corn sometimes the bone needs to be filed/shaved/removed otherwise the corn will grow back. Tight shoes can often be a culprit in the friction.

Corn: There are no natural treatments. Corns are the result of friction on the toe surface where it meets the shoe. There are also corns between the toes caused by boney enlargement duty to friction of the toes themselves. The dead skin can be shaved off but this doesn't correct the problem.
