My mom has had problems with her hip for a long time and we find out that it is something called synovial chondromatotis, here in the netherlands doctors never heard of it, so i was wondering, is there treatment for this that u know of?

My reading reveals that synovial osteochondromatosis of the hip joint is a rare condition causing multiple loose bodies within the hip joint that cause mechanical symptoms. Surgical removal of these loose bodies is the only treatment that is effective.
