Yes, in normal range: The normal level varies a bit between male vs female. 18-160 for female and 18-270 for men. Levels also differ for younger children/neonates. Ferritin is an acute-phase reactant protein which means it changes rapidly with illness. For example, you are down sick with a bad kidney infection or a bad flu, the level can be over 1000.
