I have a hairline fractured kneecap that is two weeks old. it cleared up somewhat (the swelling down). now it warm to touch. is this a problem?

Infection?: Whenever an area is warm to the touch, i wonder if there is an infection present. An infection in a joint or bone can require lengthy antibiotic treatment. See your doctor about this, an go into the er if you have no provider available.
