Sounds off: It's not clear without seeing you but, most cases of pharyngitis come with fever and sore throat. I'm worried why you have 1 swollen tonsil, though. Make sure you follow-up on this with your pcp/ent and get some answers. Let's not call it a misdiagnosis just yet, though.
