I was coughing up thick mucus, i had a fever, my voice was gone and my throat was sore. i was diagnosed with pharyngitis on sunday (01/07/2018). it's been over a week now and my voice isn't back. is this normal? how long should it take?

hoarseness or lost voice due to phayngitis can stay that long, however, if no improvement at all in few days you need to see an ENT specialist, meanwile, rest your voice and stay well hydrated, good luck
