Usually: Your orthodontist and your general dentist will work closely together to plan and execute your treatment. If ithere is a reason why your asymmetry can not be fixed it will be known before you start the ortho. You may need cosmetic procedures like veneers or crowns to accomplish your goal.

Not braces: An asymmetric smile can be "fixed" with Orthodontic treatment, probably with a fixed (braces) appliance. Please see a qualified Orthodontic Specialist for an evaluation.

Asymetric Smile: Hi Member. Asymetric smiles can be corrected with braces. However, it is important to know why the smile is asymetric. Missing teeth? Skeletal asymetry? All these issues come into play when formulating a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Obtaining proper beginning orthodontic records enable the treating orthodontic specialist the ability to perform the proper treatment plan to address the issue
