A member asked:

Can you tell me what do normal two year old tonsils look like?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tonsils: The tonsils are tissues in the back of the throat at the same level as the uvula but down along the sides. They are usually pink like the rest of the mucosa of the mouth. When they are infected they are oversized (come out of the fossa) and can have little white dots on them. This would be a strept infection. I hope that helps. You can check some anatomy books to help you. Good luck!
