6 weeks ago I began having back spasms that are severe. I have had an upper/lower GI and a CT scan showing nothing. The attack starts in the left lower quad w/throbbing pain but will radiate across my back. My entire abdominal area also swells ?
Should I be concerned that my Amylase is slightly high? The range is 28-100. Mine was 105. Been having upper GI pain but CT scan of abdomen with contrast was normal - would that rule out pancreas issues? If so why else could amylase be slightly high?
Too many Ct scans. GI doc wants abdominal CT. I refused. Asked for MRI. She said it won't show up well. How to convince her that it's a viable option?
