6 weeks ago i began having back spasms that are severe. i have had an upper/lower gi and a ct scan showing nothing. the attack starts in the left lower quad w/throbbing pain but will radiate across my back. my entire abdominal area also swells ?

Back to GI Doctor: Sounds like you are not to a diagnosis yet. A differential that comes to my mind is ileus, diverticular disease, gas, food allergy, ovarian disease, PID. Seems like you need to go back to the GI physician and ask what do I have? Depending on response will depend on what medication or next steps to help you get better.
