DISCUSS WITH ALLERGI: Your friend should discuss with his allergist as it depends the level of the ige antibodies and just having positive test does not mean anything.Need to know how strong the positive test is he should discuss with allergist or his doctor.

Possibly: I am not a fan of blood tests for food allergy. It never seemed to correlate well clinically. I suggest an elimination diet. That is eliminate one item for a few weeks and see how you feel. If there is no change then try another item and so on.
