Need confirmation: RAST blood tests can be suggestive of some food allergies, but will need to be confirmed by some sort of food challenge to be diagnostic of that food allergy.

Testing is guide: Blood or skin testing both may not correlate 100% with your personal response to a food item. A blood test showing you have high IgE to any food should be respected, since that suggests a dangerous full blown anaphylaxis risk if exposed. A food diary and food challenges based on such testing can help you define your "safe" list, but be aware that can change over time.
