CBT : Cbt is one of the most employed therapeutic techniques today; primarily because there is a great body of research proving its effectiveness. Call your insurance carrier ; ask for clinical psychologists around you. Then look up their webpages. Most will list the type of therapy they use. When in doubt, call the psychologist. Typically 4-10 weekly sessions, depending on issue severity, are ideal.

CBT: Cognitive behavioral therapy is most often provided by psychologists and other licensed psychotherapists -- although some psychiatrists do also. Whether or not you need a referral for reimbursed care depends on your specific insurance plan. Some policies severely limit access to mental health providers, or do not cover this area at all. The average duration depends on the problem(s) you have.

CBT: Include a wide range of treatment approaches for emotional disorders. It is a psychotherapy that helps you to understand the thoughts and feelings that influence your behaviors and how to change them. You don't need a referral. Most insurance companies in the us cover the treatment. The duration is individual.
