A member asked:

Is it possible to fully squat after patellar release surgery? or total knee replacement surgery?

Let me explain: Squatting require complete bending of the knee and cause a lot of stress between the patella and the femur, keeping that in mind full squatting (almost impossible) after total knee replacement, and possible after lateral release if the changes in that is not bad.

Yes, after such sur-: Geries, you can do that, to say your prayers. Some prosthesis, called high flex are known to be used for that specific need. Check with your orthopod. Good luck.
