What symptoms determine constipation needing surgery? how long can you go without having a bowl movement before an issue after seeing on ct scan?

Varies: Belly pain (probably what got the ct ordered), fevers, vomiting, and lack of bm. Problem is that ct is "static, " so it cannot tell too much about clinical picture alone. Some folks have bm more than once a day, others can be weekly or longer. Obstipation usually also haslow BP and systemic ttoxicity / shock.
