No worries. : Delivery for patients with vaginismus can be very difficult because exams can be very anxiety provoking and therefore painful, but this can be helped by having a sensitive provider who will work with you slowly to help relax the muscles, possibly even trying some topical Lidocaine for pain relief. Epidurals may be helpful for pain control and relaxation of the area. Labor is normal.
