Consult your doctor: I'm not sure if anyone here will advise you to stop taking a drug your doctor has prescribed without discussing it with your doctor. I'm happy the osteopath is helping so much. You can also ask your osteopath's opinion. While it should be safe to stop, many report significant withdrawal symptoms so taper: http://voices.Yahoo.Com/getting-off-lyrica-without-problems-minimize-side-5458753.Html?Cat=71.

Yes you can: Lyrica (pregabalin) is an anticonvulsant and should be discontinued by tapering the dosage down 25 mg very 3-4 days. Anticonvulsant should never be abruptly discontinued to prevent the possible occurrence of seizures. Rec.: before discontinue medication consult with your physician for the future consideration (plan b).
