Yes it is: Luvox or fluvoxamine is an excellent medication for depression and anxiety. Lyrica (pregabalin) on the other hand can be used in rare siuations for anxiety when nothing else works, but it is not an antidepressant. You have also alluded to lyrica's side effects, and there are too many in my experience to have any desire to prescribe it as a psychotropic drug. Don't stop anything without talking to your dr first.
