Should i be concerned if my dr wants to do a panniulectomy instead of a tummy tuck on me, anyone seen the difference?

Close enough: But , penniculectomy , is removing excessive fat fold which is constant source of infection , as it is related to the disease is covered by insurance most of the time , in tummy tuck in addition , abdominal wall will be tightened if they are weak , umbilicus is also repositioned done by plastic surgeons , insurance may not cover a cosmetic procedure , speak to your surgeon will explain to you.

Panniculectomy, on the hand, involves ONLY removal of excess skin/adipose tissue of the lower abdominal wall; much less of an aesthetic outcome...
